Hermine Demael and Stephen Zimmerer share an architectural and landscape design practice based in New York. Their work leverages the tools of architecture to address landscape, climate, and the environment, taking shape as full-scale gardens and greenhouse prototypes designed for the Jardin de Metis, Syracuse University School of Architecture, and the New York Botanical Garden. Throughout, they seek to produce new architectural forms, assembly details, and priorities for an increasingly unstable climate.
They teach architectural design and media at Syracuse University.
